Name: Pietro Maximoff Door: door pass (dominant) Canon: Marvel Cinematic Universe Canon Point: End of Avengers: Age of Ultron, post his death Age: early to mid 20's Appearance: linkHistory: linkPersonality: ⇛ LOYAL — Pietro has been shown to hold a strong self of loyalty, the most obvious being to his sister, Wanda. One of his most distinguishing qualities is the understanding of how much he devotes himself to family; upon losing their parents when they were very young to a Stark bomb, Pietro took responsibility of his role as an older brother (if only by twelve seconds) and prioritized grabbing Wanda, holding her protectively beneath their bed as they awaited to be rescued. Even as they grew older, Pietro was shown to constantly look out for Wanda's well-being, running to her side first and foremost in the midst of any battle and comforting her when she is hurt or scared. But Pietro is loyal to his country just as much as family, volunteering to be experimented on so he'd have the power to help Sokovia, even eventually sacrificing his life to save a young Sokovian boy.
⇛ COCKY — Through most of his actions, Pietro can hold quite a high degree of cockiness. Even in his first battle with the Avengers, he rushes in with a blaze of confidence that he could take them on, immediately knocking down Hawkeye, arrogant enough to slow down for a moment just so he can brag to his enemy. What could be considered admirable confidence often falls by the wayside considering Pietro's tendency to sneer at others, often times with the belief that he is much better than them, not only in morals but in ability. Even with his own sister, he's been showed to tease her over assumed jealousy, holding his head up with a bit of loud vanity.
⇛ VENGEFUL — Despite his occasional display of playfulness, Pietro can actually be quite vindictive in his actions. Upon losing his parents to a Stark bomb at a young age, he and his sister eventually made the decision to voluntarily be experimented on in order to obtain powers that would allowed them to fight the Avengers. This is in part due to their hatred of Tony Stark and because of elevated anger for the United States for constant involvement and occupation in their country of Sokovia. Despite the national belief in seeing Avengers as "heroes", vengeance for everything that had happened to his family and his country was more important than appearances and false heroism.
⇛ STUBBORN — Overall, Pietro can hold quite a bit of stubbornness, proving that a strong combination of both his arrogance and his built up anger has made him someone that could be difficult to sway once his mind has already been made up. The stubbornness proved itself helpful when undertaking Strucker's experiments, considering the procedures had resulted in the deaths of every single volunteer aside from the twins, his motivations of surviving strong enough to counteract the dangers. However, that same stubbornness often finds him into much trouble too, particularly in his battles in which he throws himself into attacking the Avengers again and again, even when he finds himself at a disadvantage. It's that same stubbornness that eventually gets himself killed, ignoring his sister's warnings in being careful and mindful of his vulnerabilities. Powers and Abilities: ⇛ SUPERHUMAN SPEED — Pietro can much faster than any human being or most any living being can. While the exact limitation of his speed is unknown, it is fast enough that he nearly becomes invisible to the eye when he moves, save for a slight blue blur that takes the place of his body. This speed also has the ability to build up enough momentum to allow for elevated strength, capable of knocking down even Captain America himself.
Nerfs: While he'll still be able to move fast, he won't be able to run outside of Duplicity's boundaries, nor can he build up too much momentum that would render him too strong to break anything too large or powerful.
