[ The relief she feels is overwhelming, honestly on par with how she felt when she first laid eyes on him. Worry and panic loosen in her chest to the point that she can breathe again, eyes falling shut as she listens to him, not feeling the least bit guilty about waking him up. She tries not to picture any wounds or bruises he might have, that she's not able to soothe for him. ]

(Admittedly, now that she is no longer tethered to Quentin, Wanda's thoughts have drifted from him a little more, though rarely for long and never permanently.) ]
[ it's possibly spoken too much like a joke when the idea of that is actually more possible than pietro would ever like to admit. after all, he's been dead before and that fact has been taunting and tormenting them both in silence with his frequent unwillingness to discuss it.

[ It's a joke that isn't funny, pulling a quietly pained noise from her instead of anything resembling amusement. But there's truth in it as well and she takes comfort in that instead, in the sound of his breathing, the familiar grogginess still lingering in his tone. ]
It is part of his punishment, apparently, a feature in his anklet that activates when another Dominant touches him. [ And logically she knows her anger should be directed towards the city, not Logan, but logic is difficult for her to focus on right now.
He's lucky she wasn't there when it happened, frankly, or he might've gotten worse than going out a window. ]
Do not go near him again until his cuff is removed. [ A beat before she adds, ] Please. [ Which is more than Logan got. ]
